I'm not one to usually make these things but I decided a good resolution this year would be to make a list of everything we want to do here in Dallas/Fort Worth before we leave and then do it. When we left Denmark we kicked ourselves 100 times for not doing some of the stuff we wanted to. We just knew we had 15 months to be there and kept saying, oh we have plenty of time to go do that, and sure enough, we never did. I don't want to leave here with a bunch of regrets like we did when we left Denmark. (However we will be so happy to leave I think if we do miss a few things here and there we will probably get over it real quick :o) ) I haven't made the list yet but it doesn't consist of to much exciting stuff but lots of little things. (Fort Worth Zoo, Dallas arboretum, a couple restaurants we want to try ect...)
Speaking of New Years Resolutions, its that time again for the gym to be crazy. We love going to the gym during the holidays because it is always empty but then once the January 1st comes around all the people that made the "I'm gonna get into shape" resolution FLOOD the gym. Now don't get me wrong, I have all the respect in the world for those who make this resolution and stick to it and do a great job. It's the ones that come in and don't know what they are doing and only come a few times and give up. It just makes it more of a hassle for those trying to actually work out. Actually about mid February the gym gets back to its normal flow with the same people we see year round in there and all those new faces slowly fade away and occasionally one of those new faces sticks around, but its rare. So in short, the gym is going to be a pain for a couple months and we always dread this time of year in terms of gym going. Oh well. What can you do??
