Gloomy Days in Denmark

My Dearest Sun and Blue Sky,
I miss you guys.
Why do you spend your short hours alive in the sky, hiding behind thick clouds?
Why don't you ever show your bright shining faces to me?
My melatonin levels are suffering since you have left.
I'm so sorry I grew up saying summer was my least favorite season.
I take it back...
I didn't mean it...
I was young...
and naive...
Please come back soon.
I'm waiting for you...
Nichole :o)

This is pretty much what it looked like for all of the few hours of daytime today, and the day before and the day before and the day before and the day before and the day before and the day before and the day before.........................

fabulous please come visit sole' poem. I love it. think good thoughts; you're almost one month past the shortest day of the year, so it's getting lighter daily. and you'll be here in bella Italia soon, where there's sun and lots of wine. D and I didn't drink all of it last week! although we made a serious dent.

You are quite the poet! We are sending thoughts of sunshine and blue skies your way. Hopefully, they will arrive soon!

Er det ikke utroligt så meget man så værdsætter at solen var fremme idag?! Håber I havde tid til at nyde de lyse timer :-)

Wes said there are an awful lot of tanning salons in DK for just this reason! You and I live in the 2 extremes. I am longing for some doom and gloom, weather wise. We need a house swap for a month. :)

If you and Lyndsay did a house swap, now that would make for interesting blog material!! LOL

Just think.... each day is one day closer to longer days and sunshine. Hang in there. And hopefully you are getting better each day so that should help too!!

After the Summer you've had here, I don't blame you for missing the sun!

I'm fine with this weather. As long as it doesn't rain (or is too windy), I think the weather is nice!
